Phillips Tempus ALS Cardiac Monitors

THANK YOU

We have met the $180,000 goal in donations and pledges needed to complete our campaign goal for the purchase of four Philips Tempus ALS cardiac monitor defibrillators. This campaign was successful due to the generosity of our community donors, business contributions and state and local grants. Soon, every one of our paramedic units will be equipped with these valuable life saving devices. We thank all of our donors, as your generosity will assist us in saving lives in the community for years to come.

Leveling Up Patient Care

Meet the Tempus ALS Monitor/Defibrillator by Philips

» Improves patient outcomes, raises the quality of care, drives efficiency, and increases patient survivability

» Allows paramedics to perform 12-lead EKG’s to diagnose heart attacks and rapidly activate cardiac catheterization laboratories at partner facilities

» Includes digital transmission of EKGs for physician review prior to arrival at the hospital, facilitating improved outcomes and better continuity of care

» Transmits 15-lead diagnostic cardiac ECG to receiving hospital before arrival, allowing ER staff to prepare for early and rapid treatment

» Improves intubation success with video laryngoscope capabilities, combined with modern capnography that enables continuous monitoring of patient breathing

» Unit is 64% lighter to carry (just 6 pounds) and utilizes a more user-friendly operating system

» Delivered ready for next-generation upgrades, including pre-hospital ultrasound when upcoming Department of Health regulations are released

Our current cardiac monitors are over 17lbs. The Tempus ALS is just over 6lbs.

Paramedic Jake Barnes shows the size and weight difference between the current and future monitors. Slide to compare.
